Packaging Directive
Packaging Directive 94/62/EC (last amendment by Directive (EU) 2018/852) sets out the EU’s rules on packaging and packaging waste. It aims at improving the quality of the environment by preventing and reducing the impact of packaging and packaging waste on the environment. This Directive is transposed into national legislation and implemented in each EU Member State.
Shimadzu regional subsidiaries in EU take care of their respective obligations according to the national implementation of the Packaging Directive. Please refer to the following information on the environmental labelling of packaging and separate the packaging accordingly.

Il Decreto Legislativo del 3 settembre 2020 ha reso obbligatoria l’etichettatura ambientale in Italia. Il Decreto si riferisce alla Direttiva UE 2018/851 sui rifiuti e alla Direttiva UE 2018/852 sugli imballi e sul loro smaltimento.
